About The Position

The Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty health care practice with a focus on prevention and longevity. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, home visits, and imaging is included in members’ annual fee. Our mission is to make healthspan and lifespan equal for all by translating science into medicine in real-time, all while bringing humanity back into health care. Delivering such robust, personalized, and preventive health care is complex and requires a team-wide dedication to excellence. After successfully opening our flagship Institute in New York in 2022 and expanding to South Florida in 2024, we are now bringing the Atria experience to the West Coast. This opening is to support our NYC institute. As a registered nurse at Atria as part of the home services team, you will be providing personalized, exceptional health care to our members. Your essential job duties will include the following:

Requirements

  • Current NYS Registered Nursing License
  • 2+ years’ experience as a practicing RN with regular experience in phlebotomy and IV placement
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Atria physicians to provide preventive, primary and urgent care to members in their home including minor procedures, such as insertion of peripheral IV for medication administration, vaccinations, and phlebotomy as prescribed/ordered under a physician's direction.
  • Perform point-of-care testing in the home such as rapid covid, flu, and strep testing
  • Perform sample collections and processing utilizing the medical testing machines located at the institute
  • Accompany and assist physicians as needed on home visits
  • Flexibility to perform administrative and clerical tasks related to clinical practice such as inventorying medication, ordering supplies, or scheduling visits.
  • Assist with maintaining mobile clinical equipment bags and kits as needed under the direction of the home services logistics and operational team
  • Developing strong relationships with members and providing high quality, personalized care and education to all populations including children and adults.
  • Communicating with primary care and specialty clinical staff in a team based model of care.
  • Maintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentials
  • Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for members
