This position is a limited appointment. The RN in the Adult Hemophilia Treatment Center is responsible for providing direct and indirect clinical care to adult outpatients who have a variety of inherited bleeding disorders. Care is provided through the systematic application of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. All components of this process are individualized to meet the physiological, psychosocial, and developmental needs of the patients. The RN performs ongoing assessments and modifies the care planning process as needed, to ensure continuity of care between inpatient, outpatient, homecare, home, and multiple providers. They're actively involved in patient, staff, and provider education and participate in clinical research activities within the program and incorporate research findings into planning and implementation of care. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $89.02 - $115.34 (Hourly Rate).
