About The Position

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus up to $25,000! JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse Hospital Float performs RN duties in multiple departments as assigned on a routine “fill-in” basis, and functions as a vital member of the healthcare team by demonstrating a customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. The Registered Nurse Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act. Requirements

• Diploma or degree in nursing.
• Current unrestricted State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within one month of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Two years hospital nursing experience, specific to consortium.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
• Additional Consortium-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required.
