Your role as a Registered Nurse, Med/Surg As a Part-Time Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center at Southwest Health System, Inc., you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care with efficiency, safety, and courtesy. A graduate of an accredited nursing program, you must hold a current Registered Nurse licensure in Colorado or a compact license. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required (bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate.
  • Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate.
  • Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
