Your role as a Registered Nurse, Med/Surg As a PRN (Relief) Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center at Southwest Health System, Inc., you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care with efficiency, safety, and courtesy. You will utilize your extensive knowledge of nursing procedures to provide tailored care that addresses the unique needs of patients across various age groups. With a solid understanding of growth and development principles, you will assess and interpret patient data to identify individual care requirements effectively. Your clinical competence will enable you to recognize symptoms and complications, ensuring high-quality interventions. Additionally, you will leverage information technologies to enhance patient care and integrate evidence-based practices, all aimed at improving health outcomes. Requirements

  • graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • hold a current Registered Nurse licensure in Colorado or a compact license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate
  • Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire, 12 months if a new graduate
  • Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
