The IU Health North Endoscopy department supports procedures with pediatric and adult patient populations. We provide upper and lower GI procedures, bronchoscopy, motility, and pain management services. We are a 4-suite department where our nurses collaborate with endoscopists, anesthesiologists, anesthesia RNs, and operating room assistants to provide quality care to our patients. Role responsibilities include pre-procedure, intra-procedure (scrub & circulator), and post-procedure recovery patient care responsibilities for endoscopy procedures, bronchoscopies, and pain management patient care for pediatric and adult patients. Requirements

  • Must have one of RN Experience
  • Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
