The Registered Nurse demonstrates competent patient and family- centered care using the nursing process. The Registered Nurse will work with the interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based patient care, positive patient care experiences and quality outcomes in the professional nursing practice environment.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and successfully completed the State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam.
- BSN Preferred
- Must obtain 20 Contact hours per year, fifty percent of which must be clinically focused.
- Academic course credits may be used on a 1:1 credit hour exchange.
- Must possess 1 year of current clinical experience.
- Registered Nurse license
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS upon hire
- Surgery Center - ACLS within 1 year of hire or 6 months of promotion
- Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following: Microsoft Word, Power Point, Access, & Excel Microsoft Outlook Meditech Epic Performance Manager/NetLearning
