Registered Nurse Emergency Room
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast‑paced, high‑acuity Emergency Department. This unit treats a full spectrum of patients, including urgent care cases, pediatrics, psychiatric patients, and critical care/trauma cases. ER nurses in this department are expected to manage advanced critical care interventions such as: Medication titrations Arterial line management Massive blood transfusion protocols Chest tube care The RN will deliver and coordinate care for patients with complex needs while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient experience.
Requirements
- Active RN License in the state/district of practice
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
- ER Nursing Experience: Minimum 1 year
- Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program
Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization for patients with emergent conditions
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress
- Perform and assist with complex procedures and critical care interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high‑quality care
- Support an efficient, compassionate patient flow in a demanding environment
