About The Position
Seeking experienced night-shift Registered Nurses for a high-volume Adult Emergency Department , with exposure to pediatric patients as required. The ideal candidate will be confident managing a wide range of emergent conditions in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers is strongly preferred. Candidates should be proficient in emergency nursing skills and comfortable working with EPIC Electronic Medical Records . Shifts will include every other weekend and some holidays . Fixed schedules and excessive time-off requests may not be approved.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of New York
- BLS certification (must be current and eligible for recertification)
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department or acute care experience (within the past 2 years) in a comparable hospital setting
- Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers
- Adult and Pediatric ER experience required
- No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
- No prior involvement as a defendant in a professional liability claim
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check

- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform rapid and comprehensive nursing assessments in the Emergency Department
- Provide high-quality patient care across varying acuity levels with minimal supervision
- Manage emergency interventions for adult and pediatric patients
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary emergency care teams
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety standards
