About The Position

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma facility . This role is part of the float pool , primarily supporting the Emergency Department and managing boarded patients, with the flexibility to float to other acute care units as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a similar-sized Level 1 Trauma facility
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Required Certifications: BLS ACLS TNCC

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Department setting
• Manage boarder patients in the ED, including: Medical/Surgical Stepdown ICU-level patients
• Deliver high-quality nursing care using critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
• Float to acute care units when required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
