About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking 2 experienced EP Lab RNs for an 8-week daytime contract in a mixed procedural unit supporting EP, Cardiac Cath Lab, and IR . Adult patient population. No weekends, no call, no rotating shifts. Scrubs provided.
Requirements
- 2+ years RN experience in EP or Cath Lab
- EPIC experience required
- Strong IV skills, 12-lead EKG, ACT monitoring
- Ability to float between EP, Cath Prep, and Recovery
- Active NY RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
Nice To Haves
- Teaching/community hospital experience preferred
- Charge experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Circulate EP procedures
- Assist with cardioversions
- Procedural sedation and monitoring (ETCO₂, RASS, dysrhythmias)
- Pre/post-op care in a 12-bed prep/recovery area
- Sheath removal and vascular closure (Perclose, StarClose)
- Administer cardiac and emergency medications
- Maintain 1:4 ratio
- SBAR handoffs
- Accurate documentation in EPIC
