About The Position

Contingent upon Contract Award. The Registered Nurse - Clinic Supervisor assumes responsibility for overseeing and driving quality in all aspects of nursing on the SOCCENT project. They will function as a member of the leadership team and handle the required duties as they pertain to patient care, administration, and contractual obligations. Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, they provide professional nursing leadership and perform regular nursing duties as required. This position is based in Israel.

Requirements

A minimum of two (2) years of management experience as an RN is required.
Current experience in direct patient care and must have worked a minimum of 6-months of the last 12-months in career field.
Proficient IT skills including use of electronic medical records systems.
Have high fluency in both oral and written English.
Current unrestricted RN license from any US state or Territory.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, bending/stooping, kneeling, twisting.
Visual acuity. Minimal hearing loss.
Push/pull/carry minimum 50 lbs.
Obtain medical clearance and maintain current immunizations.
Must be able to relocate to Israel.
A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Israel.
Ability to obtain a USG clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience on a military/government site, working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.
Remote site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring the development, implementation and application of policies and procedures related to the delivery of safe and efficient nursing care.
Monitors, audits, and evaluates the quality of nursing care provided.
Develops strategies, objectives, and plans for outpatient and inpatient services. Develops and implements short- and long-term goals that are in line with the mission statement and values of International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc.
Directs the activities of nursing personnel consistent with those in the Performance Work Statement.
Responsible for the supervision and implementation of the Clinical Quality Assurance Plan.
Responsible for the supervision of the Medical Reception Department.
Responsible for supervision and coordination of emergency and clinic services.
Responsible for supervision of Occupational Health and Medical Surveillance Programs.
Assists in the review of new hire medical credentials.
Maintains open line of communication with the EMS Department.
Coordinates mass casualty training between the hospital and supported entities.
Identifies staffing needs and continuously monitors staffing levels and adjusts as appropriate to meet various clinical care and operational objectives.
Defines nursing personnel requirements and position competencies for the nursing department.
Ensures effective utilization of staff and departmental resources.
Monitors overtime requirements in accordance with minimum and optimal staffing levels, and applicable surge requirements.
Develops and manages in-service educational programs for relevant staff when internal workflow changes occur.
Coordinates orientation programs and refresher courses to train and update skills of the nursing service personnel.
Devises and maintains strategies to ensure nursing professional development.
Responsible for the development of training manuals and materials.
Evaluates employee performance against hospital, departmental, and personal goals and objectives.
Provides corrective counselling with appropriate documentation to staff members when necessary.
Demonstrates visibility and accessibility to staff by making regular rounds, staff communication, and meetings.
Collaborates with nursing and medical staff in the development and measurement of performance of standards of patient care.
Creates an environment that fosters a positive working culture and innovative patient care.
Provides clinical leadership and expertise; serves as technical support and as a resource.
Actively attends and participates in department head and other essential committees of the medical department.
Assess and communicates departmental need for equipment and supplies.
Participates and promotes continuous quality improvement and management programs implementing and communicating corrective action plans and interventions.
Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.
Compliance with International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. policies and procedures.
