Requirements

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Champion individualized care by implementing and monitoring patient-centered care plans, ensuring every intervention is tailored to the unique clinical and personal needs of the patient.
  • Serve as the heartbeat of the care team by coordinating communication across all disciplines, ensuring a seamless, collaborative experience for both the patient and their support network.
  • Act as a proactive patient advocate by continuously assessing health status, documenting clinical changes, and relaying vital information to ensure the entire team is aligned in delivering high-quality care.
  • Drive continuity of care by leading discharge planning efforts, helping patients and their families confidently transition from our facility to their next stage of healing.
  • Execute high-standard clinical support by accurately interpreting and carrying out orders, serving as a reliable partner in the execution of the patient’s overall treatment strategy.
