This is a fully on-site leadership role (not remote or hybrid) responsible for overseeing clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, and performance outcomes. This role is ideal for a confident leader who thrives in accountability, structure, and patient-first care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
  • Licensed or eligible to serve as a Home Health Administrator in Washington, D.C.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS and D.C. home health regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work fully on-site

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in home health (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site leadership for daily agency operations
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and D.C. Department of Health regulations
  • Oversee staffing, budgeting, quality assurance, and performance metrics
  • Prepare for audits, surveys, and regulatory inspections
  • Hire, onboard, train, and support clinical and administrative staff
  • Build strong relationships with referral partners, staff, patients, and families
  • Drive continuous improvement in workflows, systems, and care delivery
