This is a fully on-site leadership role (not remote or hybrid) responsible for overseeing clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, and performance outcomes. This role is ideal for a confident leader who thrives in accountability, structure, and patient-first care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
- Licensed or eligible to serve as a Home Health Administrator in Washington, D.C.
- Strong knowledge of CMS and D.C. home health regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work fully on-site
Nice To Haves
- Master’s preferred
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in home health (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site leadership for daily agency operations
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and D.C. Department of Health regulations
- Oversee staffing, budgeting, quality assurance, and performance metrics
- Prepare for audits, surveys, and regulatory inspections
- Hire, onboard, train, and support clinical and administrative staff
- Build strong relationships with referral partners, staff, patients, and families
- Drive continuous improvement in workflows, systems, and care delivery
