The Ball Memorial Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is a designated area within the hospital that allows our providers to monitor and evaluate the medical condition of patients who do not meet criteria for inpatient admission but are not well enough to go home or require further observation. The unit provides an effective, fast paced environment that allows you to connect with your patients and perfect your assessment skills. The orientation process includes the emergency department. We are proud of the hybrid approach that this position allows. Requirements

• The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
