Registered Nurse / Certified Foot Care Nurse
About The Position
The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License awarded by the applicable state or Nurse Compact License.
- Certified Foot Care Nurse (CFCN) by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB), within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
- Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
- Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department/location).
Nice To Haves
- Two years nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
- Certified Foot Care Nurse ( CFCN ) by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board ( WOCNCB ) is required for this position, within 30 days of hire.
