The Cardiac Cath Lab at Holy Cross Hospital - West Valley is a patient-centered department focused on quality care and serving others. Our amazing team serves throughout the entire hospital and is motivated by patient experience, process improvement, and quality outcomes. We average 90 procedures per month including cardiac diagnostic, interventional procedures, interventional radiology procedures and nursing placed PICC lines. The team has specialized training in invasive monitoring, PICC line placement, cardiac atherectomy and debulking, and cardiac life-saving support with cardiac support devices and machines. We perform diagnostic procedures, restorative procedures, device implantation, and emergent procedures for STEMI. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
