About The Position
The Cath Lab RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after angiography, interventional cardiology, and cardiac catheterization procedures. This role includes patient assessment, procedural support, sedation monitoring, documentation, post-procedure recovery, and patient education. The RN also scrubs in during procedures and collaborates closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA/Nursys verified)
- AHA BLS & ACLS (active)
- Cath Lab RN experience – REQUIRED
- Non-local candidates only (50-mile radius restriction)
- 2 recent supervisory references & Cath Lab skills checklist
- All scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
Nice To Haves
- Interventional Radiology experience
- Electrophysiology experience (1+ year)
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Knowledge of intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
- Epic EMR experience
- Travel experience
