This high-acuity telemetry unit specializes in the care of patients recovering from: Open-heart surgeries Cardiac catheterization with stent placement Ablations Pacemaker/AICD implantation Cardiovascular surgeries Stroke and STEMI events You'll gain hands-on experience with complex cardiac patients while working in a collaborative environment that encourages problem-solving and continuous growth.

Requirements

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Required Licensure & Certifications: Active RN license in Missouri
Required BLS certification Required at hire
ACLS certification Required within 6 months
Skills & Experience: Basic computer skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking abilities

Nice To Haves

Prior acute care or cardiac experience preferredbut motivated new grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies, state Nurse Practice Acts, and ANA Standards
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to changes, and document accordingly
Support patients and families through education and communication
Maintain a strong focus on safety, compassion, and positive outcomes
