Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Executive DON (Ambulatory), the Clinical Nurse delivers skilled, patient-centered, and age-appropriate nursing care in partnership with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. This role is essential in providing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care that supports each patient's journey to better health. As a valued member of the Valleywise Health team, you will: Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications safely and accurately, ensuring quality outcomes. Identify nursing needs and implement effective interventions using critical thinking and clinical expertise. Provide or delegate patient care in alignment with Valleywise Health standards and policies. Serve as a patient advocate and educator, helping patients and families make informed health decisions. Collaborate closely with physicians and other disciplines to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. Support team success by participating in team building, mentoring, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all aspects of documentation and communication. The night shift pay differential will be paid at 18% of the employee's base rate of pay. The weekend shift pay differential will be paid at 8% of the employee's base rate of pay.
