About The Position

Join Agape Care Group as an After-Hours Hospice RN, a role described as a calling rather than just a job. As a registered nurse, you will advocate for patients, communicate with all involved in the care plan (patient, family, and hospice team), and ensure quality care. This specific position involves seeing patients from 8 AM to 8 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week, with full support from a 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department and the local hospice team. Nurses have access to supportive leadership and professional development opportunities for advancement. Requirements

  • A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
  • 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively

  • Hospice experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be a voice for patients
  • Communicate with everyone involved in the plan of care-the patient, the patient’s family, and the hospice care team
  • Serve as the patient advocate
  • Ensure every patient receives the quality care they deserve
