a supportive fast-paced environment? We have openings within our 9E Trauma,
General Surgery and GI, Peds Medical Surgical Unit at Riley Hospital for
Children. This is a place where you can make a positive impact on the lives of
your patients while also building strong relationships with your colleagues and
developing your nursing practice with the support of your colleagues.

9E is a 24-bed surgery/trauma unit in the Simon Family Tower. We focus on the
care of surgical patients including general surgery, trauma, and GI. We also see
GI overflow such as liver failure, GI bleeds, short gut, pectus repair, new
ostomies, gastroschisis, and traumas.

Requirements

• Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
