FT position available, Monday through Friday 7am to 5pm staggered day shift. Must be flexible. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse to join our team. The RN will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and readiness for anesthesia through comprehensive clinical interviews. Additional responsibilities include assisting with bloodwork, specimen collection, and EKGs. The RN will also provide in-person patient education in our CPM clinic, working closely with our Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and resident staff. Cross coverage of the screening program on an as needed basis may be required. Three years of acute med/surg experience with knowledge of perioperative medicine is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and clinical competency are essential. Basic computer skills required. Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
  • Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
  • Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
  • Ensuring patient safety and readiness for anesthesia through comprehensive clinical interviews.
  • Assisting with bloodwork, specimen collection, and EKGs.
