Location: Bethesda North Hospital at 10500 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242
Work Hours: Full-time: 80 hours bi-weekly Evening split shift (1:30 PM - 12:00 AM) Includes every 3rd weekend and holiday rotations

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field, OR clinical experience and MLT education equivalent to MT certification (Required)
• 1 - 2 years' experience clinical in a related field (Required)
• MT Clinical Training
• American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) Required
• Ability to Prioritize/Organize/Handle Quantity of Work
• Accuracy/Quality/Completeness of Work
• Complex Assignments Received/Delegated/Completed
• Judgement Skills/Problem Solving Skills
• Overall Procedure Knowledge/Quality Assurance Knowledge – including documentation as needed

Responsibilities

• Performing a full range of laboratory tests
• Confirming the accuracy of test results
• Reporting laboratory findings to the doctors, pathologists, or other physicians
• Operates and maintains a variety of laboratory instruments
• Utilizes laboratory computer system in performance of duties
• Maintains strict adherence to established policies and procedures
