About The Position

This position requires you to operate sheet metal fabrication machines, read shop orders, read and understand engineering drawings, perform quality checks and use calibration equipment such as calipers, or any other equipment necessary to perform job functions. In the functions, you will: Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum) Run various machine operations (brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing & hand sheering) Minimum of one (1) year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing enviornment. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. (Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.) Must be able to move, position, and/or lift parts or boxes weighing from 10lbs-50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing enviornment
• Experience reading blueprints
• Experience with calibration equipment such as calipers
• SAP experience
• Proficient with computer application systems
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
• Ability to be self- driven
