About The Position

Looking for a role where you can make a real difference every day? ECMC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support both our rural health clinics, outpatient clinic and laboratory services. This position offers variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Medical Assisting or Associate Degree in Medical Assisting
• No experience required; previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting is preferred.
• One of the following: Certificate in Medical Assisting, Diploma in Medical Assisting, Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• PBT (ASCP) certification preferred; CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Support patient care: vitals, rooming, assisting with procedures
• Perform basic lab tasks and specimen collection
• Help manage patient flow, scheduling, and communication
• Maintain clean, organized clinical and lab spaces
