About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a national leader in clinical nutrition consulting, is seeking a full-time, on-site Registered Dietitian to support a community-based geriatric care program in Indiana. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related accredited field
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Active Indiana state license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic charting systems
- Understanding of state and federal regulations related to nutrition care
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and follow-up evaluations
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans tailored to medical needs, cultural preferences, and patient goals
- Provide patient and family education on nutrition, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Document all care provided in accordance with facility and company policies
- Perform administrative and organizational tasks as required
