About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to c ome join our team of dietitians at PIH Health Whittier! PIH Health Medication Management Clinic is located off site from the main PIH Health Whittier Hospital, l ocated only 12 miles southeast of Los Angeles, CA. The clinic is a subspecialty providing care focused on chronic disease management care in collaboration with the primary care providers and specialists with group and affiliated providers. The clinic manages various chronic conditions: anticoagulants, diabetes, cholesterol, weight management, and hypertension For Registered Dietitians, Sodexo offers a full array of benefits Starting with paid vacation, sick time and personal days! Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
  • Demonstrated ability to problem‑solve creatively, work independently with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions in a self‑directed, team‑oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast‑paced clinical setting
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
