About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to c ome join our team of dietitians at PIH Health Whittier! PIH Health Medication Management Clinic is located off site from the main PIH Health Whittier Hospital, l ocated only 12 miles southeast of Los Angeles, CA. The clinic is a subspecialty providing care focused on chronic disease management care in collaboration with the primary care providers and specialists with group and affiliated providers. Requirements

Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
Demonstrated ability to problem‑solve creatively, work independently with minimal supervision, and make sound decisions in a self‑directed, team‑oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast‑paced clinical setting
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
