About The Position
Seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide clinical nutrition services in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patient nutritional needs, developing care plans, and supporting overall patient health and recovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
- Completion of an ACEND-accredited Supervised Practice Program
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Active New York State Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist License
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- Experience in clinical or hospital-based nutrition settings
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure compliance with clinical nutrition standards and regulations
