Job description: Must have previous long-term care/senior living experience. Supports and delivers the highest level of nutrition care to residents to meet the customer’s overall needs. Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status. Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes Comply with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, policies, and CMS regulations Collaborate with IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) to provide quality nutrition and culinary program Review menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistencies Supports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchen Implement Health & Wellness initiatives

Requirements

  • Must have previous long-term care/senior living experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to encourage changes in nursing and kitchen management.
  • 1-3 years of long-term care and Registered Dietitian experience.
  • Meets eligibility requirements for certification as a Registered Dietitian
  • Bachelor's Degree
