Requirements

Registered Dental Assistant with the state of Texas required
Coronal polishing / Sealant and Pit Fissure certification required
Prior Dental Assistant experience required
Prior Pediatric Dental Assistant experience Required 1- 2 years

Nice To Haves

Working experience with Dentrix Ascend highly preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
