About The Position
Our office, Northwest Endodontics in Austin, Texas is seeking a skilled and licensed Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a dedicated and professional RDA to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience. You will be an essential part of the practice, supporting both clinical and administrative functions
Requirements
- Active Registered Dental Assistant license in the state of Texas required
- Current radiology certification required
- CPR and BLS certification required
- At least 1-2 years of dental assisting experience; specialty experience preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program (if required by state law)
- Proficiency in sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
- Knowledge of dental software and basic administrative tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and staff in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- Greeting and preparing patients for treatment
- Assisting the dentist with procedures using four-handed dentistry
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean, organized operatory
- Taking and developing dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations
- Providing post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education
- Scheduling appointments and follow-up visits
- Managing patient records accurately and securely
- Assisting with insurance and payment processing
- Supporting front desk and administrative functions as needed
