We also perform emergency dentist in Hillcrest services that include root canals, crowns, sedation dentistry, and bridges. As a local dentist in Hillcrest, we create lifelong relationships with our patients and their families and work to ensure that they receive treatments in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Job Description This Registered Dental Assistant is an integral member of our team and help foster our clinically led culture. From being the doctor’s right hand, to having the ability to connect with patients, and striving to provide the best patient experience, Registered Dental Assistants are a key contributor to the success of our practice. Compensation Range: $33 - $35 per hour Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:45AM - 5PM - No Weekends!!

Requirements

Prior Dental Assistant experience required 2 - 4 years
Dental Assistant Certificate in California required
X-ray certification where state regulations specify

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with Dentrix Highly Preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures while helping patients feel comfortable
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
Provide patients with follow-up instructions following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
