About The Position

Perform detailed cardiac ultrasound exams with precision and care Document findings and prepare preliminary reports for cardiologist review Assist with invasive cardiac procedures and ensure proper equipment handling Support departmental efficiency and quality control initiatives Mentor students and peers, sharing knowledge and best practices Maintain accurate electronic health records and assist with non-technical tasks

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Completion of a cardiac sonography program or equivalent as required by ARDMS or CCI
• Registered as RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI)
• Current BLS (CPR) certification
• Experience in Adult Echocardiography or clinical rotation
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, ultrasound equipment, and patient positioning
• Excellent attention to detail and image optimization
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in emergency situations
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to continuing education and departmental improvement
• Basic Life Support
