Every day as an RBT you will: Ensure the safety and supervision of the children Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment Provide interventions to children with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and speech and language disabilities Deescalate and mitigate behaviors using positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) You will be offered: Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position) Pay Rate: $24.00- $27.36/hr (based upon experience) An environment that is supportive, educational and clinically focused. CARES provides an environment that focuses on teaching each student based on his or her unique strengths and needs. Programming is focused on increasing independence for each student

Requirements

  • Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and supervision of the children
  • Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment
  • Provide interventions to children with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and speech and language disabilities
  • Deescalate and mitigate behaviors using positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS)
