About The Position

Devereux Day Academy is a private academic school program located in Norristown, PA. Devereux Day Academy is licensed to serve students in grades K-8 who have been identified with the following primary disabilities: Intellectual Disability, Autism, Emotional Disturbance, Specific Learning Disability, and Speech or Language Impairment. The core curriculum has been aligned with the Pennsylvania Core Standards, as well as the curricula of our partner school districts. This alignment will facilitate smooth transitions to and from the program for your students. Requirements

Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred.
Must possess and maintain valid driver'slicense
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment
Ensure the safety and supervision of the children
Provide interventions to children with emotional support and behavioral health needs in a school setting
Deescalate and mitigate behaviors throughout the day

Benefits

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52-week year long position)
New Pay rate: $24.00- $27.36/hr (based upon experience)
