It's more than a career, it's a calling. WI-Treffert Center Worker Type: Regular Job Summary: Provides direct behavioral intervention services using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to an autism population in center, home, and community settings.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED
  • No experience required
  • Proof of motor vehicle liability insurance that meets minimum state requirements upon hire and upon request.
  • Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
  • Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Occasional driving.
  • Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
  • State of Work Location: Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wisconsin
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) And Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships with clients and families, working collaboratively in a team-focused approach.
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation consistent with all contracts, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Provides therapeutic services to clients, independently and with a team, creatively, and competently, as directed by clinical supervisors.
  • Provides reports, program updates, and other information as requested to clinical supervisors and team members.
  • Complies with the current BACB RBT Handbook and Ethics Code.
  • Attends team and department meetings for continuing training/education on client-specific and behavior analytic interventions.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
