Department: Behavior (PSR/Mental Health) Reports to: BCBA Supervises: None Exempt Status: Non-exempt Salary Range: Starting at $21 per hour plus benefits for full time employees Shift: Daytime, 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday Location: St. Augustine, FL (St. Johns County) Essential Functions: Keeps state certification current- Registered Behavior Technician (with the State of Florida) Provides direct care/ personal care and duties to individuals Verbal and non-verbal interactions with individuals reflect caring and respect Promotes and insures individual rights upheld Completes or coordinates recreation activities per IPP goals with a focus on skill acquisition and behavioral interactions. More details of RBT position below: FUNCTIONS: Facilitates a positive teaching and training atmosphere conducive to individual growth and development by providing direct behavioral support and skill acquisition. This position requires understanding of positive behavioral approaches to implement programming as directed by behavioral and habilitation implementation plans. This position is responsible for immediate and accurate documentation of programming and interventions services. Effective coordination with the behaviorist, supervisors, and co-workers are required to maintain a high quality of life for the individual.
