About The Position
We are currently seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) . This position is open to paraprofessionals, special education specialists, childcare providers, and individuals with experience working with children , including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) . Prior ABA experience is not required training and support will be provided.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in any setting (school, childcare, camps, after-school programs, etc.)
- Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn ABA principles and complete RBT training (if not already certified)
- High school diploma required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children with ASD or developmental delays is a plus, but not required
- Paraprofessional, special education, psychology, education, or related background encouraged to apply
- college coursework in education, psychology, or related field is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 behavioral support to children and adolescents with developmental needs
- Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA
- Support skill-building in communication, social interaction, and daily living skills
- Assist with behavior management in home, school, or community settings
- Collect basic data and communicate progress with supervisors and families
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
