About The Position
Kids First is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide telehealth ABA services in Alaska. If you’re not currently an RBT—no problem! We offer the training to help you become certified. Position Overview RBTs work 1:1 with clients to implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA. Services focus on building communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- RBT certification or willingness to obtain (training is provided)
- Ability to travel to client homes
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Physical ability to meet job demands (lifting, stairs, etc.)
- Maintain a HIPAA-compliant workspace
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Secure and professional environment free of distractions
- Ability to utilize required documentation and telehealth platforms
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children ages 3–18 (preferred but not required)
- CentralReach experience is a plus
- CPR certification (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 virtual ABA services in home-based settings
- Implement BCBA-designed treatment plans and programs
- Collect accurate data using electronic data collection systems
- Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA
- Support parent training and clinical activities as assigned
- Maintain RBT certification and follow BACB ethical guidelines
- Adhere to HIPAA and company policies
