About The Position
SANZIE HEALTHCARE SERVICES IMMEDIATE OPENING for Registered Behavior Tech Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a 22-year-old female with Autism Position Overview: Implement evidence-based behavior‑analytic interventions while assisting her with daily living skills, schoolwork, and community engagement. You'll split your time between structured ABA sessions and hands-on caregiving. The ideal candidate should have experience with autism, demonstrate patience, and possess the skills necessary to support the individual's functional independence.
Requirements
- RBT certification or equivalent
- 1+ year experience with adults on the autism/ADHD spectrum
- Strong communication and de‑escalation skills
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone for check‑ins
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- A valid Georgia driver's license and auto insurance are required.
- CPR & First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Current TB test.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist with grooming, hygiene, and hair care.
- Domestic Assistance: Teach and assist with cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Health and Safety Care: Remind and assist with medications and physical exercises.
- Documentation: Accurately record daily progress according to the service plan and IEP.
- Community Assistance: Facilitate community engagement and social activities.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with the agency regarding any client or family concerns.
- Support: Encourage and support the client's growth and development at home and in the community.
