About The Position

The Regional Warehouse Manager is responsible for centralized oversight of, and strategic planning for, plant warehouses including warehouse space utilization, drop lots, trailer shuttles, inbound/stock transfers/outbound logistics. This role ensures that standardized processes are established for efficient utilization of space and resources and includes safety, KPIs, HIPs, training, inventory control, warehouse operations, transportation/shuttles, etc. This individual will have shared responsibilities for current and long-term logistics strategies that are aligned with Makers Pride goals and objectives. The Regional Warehouse Manager assists all Makers Pride plant warehouse managers and logistics associates with daily operations, material handling equipment acquisitions, capacity/utilization assessments and continuous improvement. This manager acts as “Subject Matter Expert” for warehouse and 3PL operations, including managing relationships and agreements with 3PL partners. LOCATION This position is Hybrid with 2-3 days/week in a Maker’s Pride office or plant location and 2-3 days/week remote. Periodic travel is required.

  • Minimum of 10 years multi-functional supply chain and/or logistics experience, including a minimum of 5 years direct warehouse management/warehouse operations leadership experience and detailed business process knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute warehouse and network strategies to support safe work practices and continuous improvement throughout supply chain while optimizing landed cost and meeting service expectations
  • Achieve annual warehouse HIPS target (inflation off-set) annually across corporate and local locations
  • Ensure warehouse P&L performance across corporate and local operations
  • Evaluate current processes and identify efficiency opportunities and space utilization recommendations which support overall supply chain strategy
  • Create standard work processes and tools to support materials movement, warehouse equipment utilization, inbound/outbound transportation, space utilization and drop trailer management
  • Establish 3PL relationships, process reviews and contractual adherence
  • Identify procedural gaps and create standard work documentation, one-point lessons (OPL) and necessary training documentation
  • Responsible to establish KPIs to effectively manage logistics and proactively address constraints and develop corrective actions. This includes identifying operational inefficiencies, conducting RCA and CAPA procedures which improve effectiveness
  • Utilize system and process knowledge to develop and implement productivity improvements to meet or exceed budget target
  • Build and analyze data to define, recommend, and implement network-wide solutions
