Primary function: Manage multiple branches and leaders; primarily responsible for growth and overall to deliver positive customer experiences while growing your business. Primary Responsibility for ensuring that the branches within your responsibility attain Operating Profit at or above budget, and L2S (Lead to Sale) minimum of 25%, while holding your leaders accountable to a positive customer experience and strong team. Essential functions: Overall accountability for the success of each branch in your region. This means developing, training, and communicating expectations to your team and/or leaders, providing an escalation point, and being the final decision maker on any material decisions in the branch in the following areas: Customer experience Expertise Reputation Marketing/Business Development Sales and Sales Management Operations Compliance A Regional Vice President is accountable in the following areas. Planning: Review and understand what makes you, your region, and your team successful as well as key areas of improvement. Project at least 1-2 years in advance of your objectives and strategies to achieve them. Complete an annual plan each year before the end of the year in conjunction with Division VP. Set a quarterly Rock for your region AND each team member, and ensure your leaders do the same. Sales and Financial Plan: Work with branch leaders and Shared Services to set annual revenue and earnings budget. Financial and operating stats will be discussed during the MBR (Monthly business review). Annual Goals: Fully committed and managing the team to Company Annual Goals for expected performance. Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and other meetings: Prepare and Present at all MBRs, and as needed for other meetings. Leadership/Management: Hiring/Recruiting - The Regional Vice President should be constantly recruiting talent. People Development - Meet with each member of your team formally and one-on-one at least monthly. Complete semi-annual RADS (Review, Align, Discuss) for all direct reports, and ensure your leaders do the same. As part of the RAD process, determine one “rock” (quarterly goal) per quarter, and work with your team to create a development plan for Rocks and personal goals, including training for improvement, training for advancement, and training on tools/resources. In addition, determine and share performance to Rock for each individual on a regular (at least monthly) basis. Hold your leaders accountable to do the same with their team. Identify and implement change for recurring issues as needed. Consult and Coordinate with all department heads to improve our processes. Financial Responsibilities: For all branches: AR- private pay and 3rd party over 90 days at zero. Operating Profit at or above budget. Achieve budgeted GM (Gross Margin) % Perform any other duties assigned

Requirements

  • Proven, successful experience as a leader in a similar role; leading operational, sales, and leaders.
  • Experience working in a similar industry: business to consumer industries a must
  • experience managing team members who are on the road; sales and installation/service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent financial acumen; understanding of a budget, proven experience managing to a budget, and building a budget
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
