Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to our clients and HQ personnel.
  • Proven leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development, while fostering partnerships.
  • Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized.
  • Demonstrates financial management, merchandising, analytical, planning and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promote an inclusive & supportive approach within the Brand team, with networking continuing at all units.
  • Focuses on removing barriers and empowering growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
  • Leads by example through Sustainability/Conservation efforts; displays knowledge of efforts in business application as well as giving adequate opportunity for teaching to unit staff as necessary.
  • Engages with SSA/Unit in driving community effort through engagement activities and focus.
  • On opportunities of giving back.
  • A bachelor’s degree a plus, or equivalent work experience relevant to the scope of business.
  • Visitor service background needed for a top national visitor service company.
  • Strong experience with food service, admissions, catering (fine-dining, corporate, non-profit, & private), retail gifts, new business development, financial statements, capital projects, contract and client management, personnel management and development, communication, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct leader for full operations of the region assigned with oversight of the Resident District Managers and General Managers at assigned location.
  • Assumes an active role in the long-range planning for locations as well as transitions to new accounts in their district.
  • Oversee regional sales, ongoing business development, operation processes and implementing sales strategies to increase productivity and ensure overall organization profitability.
  • Responsible for training and onboarding of new RDMs and GMs in district, driving training and onboarding efforts for SSAVVY nationwide.
  • Navigate the business landscape through SSAs partnerships ensuring operational standards are met, client expectations are met and exceeded, with a strong focus towards new business, retention of partnerships, and growth of leaders at the location.
  • Travel to support locations and continue client relationships in region.
  • Network with current and prospective clients at industry events (AZA, IAAPA, ASTC, AAM, etc.) as deemed appropriate; gains necessary approval and partnership to attend client events and galas.
