About The Position

We are searching for a Regional Vice President, Operations to support our Greyhound entity in the U.S. The Regional Vice President (RVP) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing business operations within a defined region. This position ensures that operational strategies align with company goals, drives performance, and fosters a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement across multiple sites. Reporting to Greyhound's C.O.O., the RVP will provide strategic direction, operational leadership, and strong people management to deliver sustainable growth and success across Operations, Customer Service, and Maintenance initiatives in a given region. This role must reside in Pacific Northwest. About the Role Implements and monitors company safety initiatives. Implements objectives utilizing market specific action plans. Develops understanding of competitive landscape, including competitor strengths and weaknesses and recommends responses. Implement company maintenance policies and objectives within the region. Established effective business partnerships with internal departments and facilitates cross functional activities to meet or exceed annual operating plans (e.g., Marketing, Maintenance, Fleet Management). Seeks and identifies new business relationships throughout the region. Establishes strong understanding and focus on the market, looking for new business opportunities. Represents the region in local relationships with customers, government and regulatory officials. Establishes and maintains positive labor relations. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local regulations and guidelines (e.g., safety, environmental, DOT, OHSA). Employee Development - Provides ongoing feedback to employees concerning strengths and areas of needed improvement. Recommends supplemental training programs. Evaluate Performance - Prepares and communicates performance evaluation, including any changes in base pay.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in transportation, business or related field is preferred
  • 7+ years - Operations management
  • 5+ years - Planning and analysis
  • 3+ years - Budget responsibility
  • 50% travel required by air, bus or auto
  • Skill in working as part of a dynamic team
  • Ability to solve problems and make real-time decisions
  • Must reside in Pacific Northwest
