About The Position

The Bluebird Fiber Regional Vice President, Enterprise Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth within a defined region by leading a team of Enterprise sales directors and their teams in Bluebird's enterprise sales segments. These segments include but are not limited to customers in the following fields: commercial, government, education, medical, and financial. This position requires a strategic leader who excels in coaching, training, and developing sales leaders, while ensuring performance through KPI management and execution of regional go-to-market strategies. Candidate must reside in one of the following markets: KC, STL, CLE, INDY, DETROIT, or W. MICHIGAN

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent sales leader experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales leadership capacity in the telecommunications industry
  • Proven success in developing and coaching sales leaders and teams.
  • Experience in a reputable sales management system/CRM (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to meet goals.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a fiber mapping platform, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Enterprise Sales Directors and their teams to achieve regional revenue growth and targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training and mentorship to develop high-performing sales leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Drive pipeline growth and ensure accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Oversee complex sales cycles, supporting sales leaders in strategic negotiations.
  • Define and monitor KPI's
  • Partner with channel leadership, sub-agents and TSD's to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with sales engineering, operations, marketing and product teams to execute regional growth activities.
  • Conduct analysis to manage performance levels of sales against market developments and company objectives.
  • Prepare and present a variety of status reports including activity, closings, and follow-ups.
  • Gather region and customer information to enhance product performance and service.
  • Provide input to Bluebird's leadership to ensure customer future needs are factored into network evolution plans.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
