About The Position

Profitably manage risk selection in an underwriting territory, through analysis of the information presented, and then selecting, declining, and providing alternatives for the risks reviewed.

Requirements

• Demonstrate ability to exercise business judgment, effective oral and written communication skills, sales and negotiations skills, analytical skills and effective time management.
• Associate’s degree or Technical or specialized knowledge or equivalent, related experience.
• 1 - 3 years’ experience
• One-year prior experience in the insurance industry or customer service.

• Preferably actively enrolled in a degree or CPCU Program.

Responsibilities

• Performs agency management responsibilities that involve analyzing, monitoring and evaluating assigned agencies in a territory to identify potential concerns or trends within their book of business.
• Works closely with Business Development Reps and/or Supervisor and assigned agencies, and acts as a liaison to influence the overall profitability, quality and composition of each agency’s book.
