ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Supervise Consulting Utility Foresters (CUFs), Lead Consulting Utility Foresters (LCUFs), and Project Managers. Organize and monitor work processes. Train, counsel, and discipline employees as necessary. Provide a safe and productive work environment. Strive to provide exceptional customer service. Facilitate employee success. Perform other duties as related or assigned.

Requirements

  • ISA Certified Arborist
  • ISA Utility Specialist Preferred
  • Valid First-Aid/CPR certification
  • Working knowledge of all approved work methods that apply to job description
  • Must have high attention to detail
  • General knowledge of arboriculture, including tree identification, growth habits, and correct arboricultural techniques for the pruning, repairing, maintaining and/or removal of vegetation in close proximity to energized conductors
  • Understanding of the American National Standards for Tree Care Operations (ANSI Z133)
  • Understanding of the American National Standards for Proper Pruning (ANSI A300)
  • Understand the OSHA §1910.269
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, and must be skilled in reading and interpreting circuit maps
  • Strong knowledge of various computer and UVM software platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with the general public, clients, and fellow employees
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to various contracts/clients
  • Must reside in the appropriate region of the country. Location is negotiable.
