About The Position

This role is for an individual to join the Regional Strike leadership team, focusing on execution and coordination. The primary responsibility is to ensure teams have necessary resources, clear blockers, and that processes support the work being done. The individual will also serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM), accountable for delivery rhythm and control account health. The role's focus can flex based on individual strengths; a technical background may lead to hands-on development support for one team, while a stronger coordination and process focus might involve supporting two teams. This position offers real leadership experience for those on a DPME career track.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate team ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, demos) for one or two software teams
• Serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM), owning schedule and execution performance for your team's scope
• Identify and remove impediments, whether technical, organizational, or process-related
• Shield the team from external disruption while keeping leadership informed on progress and risk
• Coach team members on best practices and continuous improvement
• Coordinate across teams and workstreams to manage dependencies and escalate cross-cutting issues
• Contribute directly to technical work when not focused on team facilitation and coordination. Leadership in this role is earned alongside the team, not from the sideline
