About The Position

This position will lead the East Region of Florida Operations and Maintenance team responsible for the safe and reliable operation of over 40 assets and 3,000 MW of generation with strong growth projections. Assets in this region span from Port St. Lucie County to Orlando, primarily based out of Interstate Solar in Fort Pierce, Florida. With limited and general guidance, the leader in this position will manage all aspects of business and operations while maintaining an injury‑free workforce and achieving production and business targets. The leader ensures all business activities are conducted in accordance with corporate policies and in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations. Leaders are expected to:• Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, central organization support teams, vendors, and OEMs for the furtherance of organizational goals• Ensure all safety, environmental, performance, and budget targets are met• Develop and grow the team and business• Oversee and approve site procurement activities• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned The Regional Manager I will possess:• Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills• A solid technical background and field services experience with strong problem‑solving skills• The ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment• Superior organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills• The ability to manage multiple complex tasks and achieve flawless execution• Strong project management skills• Strong business process management skills• Six Sigma or equivalent quality skills• The ability to travel approximately 50%Job OverviewThis job leads a team involved in operating multiple solar storage sites. Requirements

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years
  • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance to all Power Generation Division (PGD) operational model processes
  • Leads by example and emulates the PGD shared values
  • Ensures all business activities are conducted following corporate policies and are in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal permits, codes, standards, and regulations
  • Monitors and Controls budget ensuring targets are met for their region
  • Oversees and approves procurement activities of the site
  • Leads, manages, and develops the team within their region.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
